Mountcharles blitz provides useful test for under 10s
Aodh Ruadh's under 10s had a productive outing in scorching conditions down in Mountcharles last Saturday. The senior team won their opening game against Saint Naul's, however the lack of subs, not having a break between games and the oppressive heat told in the game against Killybegs. Nevertheless the day was a great experience for all the players with the Ballyshannon lads playing some great stuff. In particular Cian Rooney, Colm McGloin, Kyle Murray, Danny Breen all did very well on the day.
The junior team consisting of Calum Doherty-Craig, Darragh Dolan, Cian McKenna, Eoghan Kelly, Cillian Meehan, Corey Ryan, David Roper, Fergal McGowan and Shane Delahunty also had two well-contested encounters and competed very strongly. Calum Doherty-Craig deserves a special mention for his tireless defensive work in the sweltering conditions.
