Aodh Ruadh hurlers in Croke Park

Tuesday 6th April is a day that will live long in the memory of six of under 12 hurlers who were part of a 36 strong Donegal panel who took part in an Ulster Activity day in Croke Park. Our day in Croke Park began with the boys playing in a series of nine-a-side games for an hour and a half on the hallowed turf of Croke Park. It was a great day for the boys, their families and the club. Well done to all those who travelled for this very memorable and enjoyable experience. The six boys who played in Croke park were Brendan Gillespie, Oisín Rooney, Shane McGrath, Patrick Haran, Cian Duffy and Garrett Sheerin. They were accompanied by their mentors John Rooney and Peter Horan. It is hoped it's the first of many appearances for the boys on the field in Croke Park.
