Aodh Ruadh well represented at Letterkenny USHC clash

Aodh Ruadh juvenile hurlers were well represented in O'Donnell Park, Letterkenny on Saturday last as Donegal played Down in the Ulster hurling championship. Aaron Fannon, Pat Faherty, Thomas Anderson, Conor McNeely and Rory Cullen were part of the minor squad who suffered a heavy defeat against the Mourne Men. Under 14 hurlers Oisín Rooney and Stephen Anderson representing Creevy National School took part in the INTO exhibition game at half time in the senior game between Donegal and Down and we have a picture of the lads on aodhruadh.org. Commiserations to our under 16 hurling manager, Peter Horan, who was corner forward on the Donegal senior side who lost to Down in the Ulster Championship by 3-16 to 1-13. Donegal played quite well and Peter had a very good game capped with a great point before half time. Best of luck to Donegal as they travel to play South Down in the Lory Meagher semi-final this Saturday in Newry.
